Master Ruma Roy Chowdhury received prestigious International Award “Letter of Appreciation” from the Hon’ble President of KUKKIWON in presence of National & International dignitaries on 9th December 2018. This Award is the dream of every Taekwondo Instructors.

 

Master Ruma, the first Indian Female Sports Personality who received another feather in her illustrious cap. Ruma has received the rare opportunity to be an Indian Delegation Team Member at the “38th UN International Day of Peace & 2019 GCS International Convention” in South Korea.

 

She received “Mother Teresa International Award” in 2019. No Taekwondo Player received this most prestigious award before Master Ruma Roy Chowdhury and Legendary Taekwondo Personality Grand Master Pradipta Kumar Roy.

 

She is an International Master Instructor of KUKKIWON-World Taekwondo Headquarters. 

 

She is the Secretary General of GCS West Bengal India Chapter (An Autonomous Body under GCS International-UN ECOSOC Special Consultative Status)

 

She is also felicitated by Hon’ble Mayor of Pocheon Si, South Korea, Seoul Metropolitan Government and many more.

 

Former Board Member, State Level Sports Committee, Dept. of Minority Development & Welfare and Madrasah Education, Govt. of West Bengal.

 

She received Taekwondo 7 Dan, or Certified Black Belt VII (CBB VII), from Living Legend Pioneer Grand Master Kong Young Il, the first Indian female to receive such honor.

 

The Roy couple is leading the operation of InfraBasic India as the CEO and the Managing Director.

 

As they have demonstrated their excellence in the discipline of Taekwondo, they are onto establishing their excellence in the practice of business, especially in promoting the investment and the national infrastructure development of India, their beloved home country.★
